Ready and Waiting/Better Choices

Place of Hope believes that educating our teens about the risks of engaging in pre-marital sex will help them make more positive choices, and encourage a plan for sexual integrity in body soul and spirit.

By challenging our youth to make more positive choices, and teaching them how to achieve this goal, they will be able to realize greater opportunities for their future and a healthier, risk-free lifestyle

“Ready & Waiting” will show students:

-          They are valuable human beings

-          Choosing not to have sex now is a realistic and attainable goal

-          There are consequences to pre-marital sex:

-                   -Unplanned pregnancy

         -Sexually Transmitted Diseases

         -Emotional Consequences

    -Advantages to Waiting

    -How to make a fresh start

Presentations :  Senior High grades Students 9-12
                              Middle School grades Students 6-8
                              Girls Clubs
                              Youth Groups                                      

Adaptable for special  needs and circumstances

Designed to fit (2) 35-40 minute sessions or (1) 90 minute session

-Presented with humor, interactive demonstrations, and truthful, accurate information.
